MAISON NGUYEN was founded in Toronto with a simple belief: that an engagement ring should be more than a piece of jewellery.
It should be something chosen with intention. Something that carries meaning beyond the moment in which it is given, and becomes part of a life together.
Our approach begins with the diamond.
We believe a great diamond deserves a setting worthy of it—and that every element matters. The proportions. The silhouette. The metal. The setting. The details that are noticed immediately, and the ones that reveal themselves over time.
We work with natural diamonds selected for their individual character and quality, and with precious metals and craftsmanship chosen to create pieces intended to be worn, kept, and passed down.
THE HOUSE
There is something enduring about a maison.
It is not simply a place where something is made. It is a point of view—a standard of taste, a way of working, and a body of work that grows over time.
MAISON NGUYEN was created with this in mind.
We are deliberately selective in what we make and how we make it. Rather than producing for volume, we focus on a considered collection of engagement rings and diamond jewellery.
Our pieces are made in Toronto, where the house is based.
THE DIAMOND
We exclusively offer natural diamonds.
Each stone has its own proportions, character, and presence. We consider the diamond as a whole rather than reducing it to a list of grades, and we believe that understanding a diamond requires looking beyond the numbers.
Our selections are guided by quality, proportion, beauty, documentation, and the way a stone performs in the finished piece.
THE RING
The ring is where everything comes together.
A diamond can be exceptional on its own. The setting determines how it is seen, how it is worn, and how it will endure.
We pay particular attention to proportion and balance—the relationship between the diamond and the setting, the scale of the band, the architecture of the shoulders, and the details that give a piece its character.
Nothing is added simply for the sake of it.
